take a shower with the lights off

I had no idea this community already exists online, and I’m not making any grand claims about the benefits of showering in the dark.

For me, it’s just really nice and sometimes mildly psychedelic 🌀

maximum darkness is the key - stuff a towel under the door if light is leaking in. I fumbled around a bit at first, but now I can find the soap if I drop it or put toothpaste on my toothbrush (bonus rec: brushing your teeth in the shower is a better experience and 100% worth the extra water)
